Training imparted to polling staff in Shopian

SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 20: In view of the forthcoming Block Development Council (BDC) Elections, a training programme for the polling personnel was held here today at mini secretariat Arhama Shopian.
The training programme was held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Shopian Choudhary Mohammad Yasin who is also the District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Shopian.
District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) imparted the training to the participants about their role and responsibilities in the polling process.
The DLMTs stressed on the trainees to carry out their allotted poll responsibilities with commitment and dedication while strictly adhering to the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission of India (ECI) so as to ensure smooth conduct of the BDC elections in district.
The training programme was attended by ROs and concerned officials.
