BDC Elections: 2nd phase of poll staff randomization held in Budgam

BUDGAM, OCTOBER 16: The second phase of randomization of polling staff for the upcoming Block Development Council (BDC) polls was done in the presence of General Observers for Budgam here today.
Through the randomization process polling parties have been created for all the 13 Polling Stations of District Budgam. The District Election Officer (DEO) Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganie while chairing the randomization meeting said that 52 officers have been designated as Polling Officers, 4 each for a polling station to ensure free and fair conduct of BDC polls in the district. An additional 52 officers were designated as reserve staff during the process.
He said that the training for employees shall be conducted on October 19, including the reserved staff. He impressed upon all the General Observers to work with synergy to ensure free and fair polls in the district.
