Udhampur DDC reviews implementation of PM–Kisan Yojana

UDHAMPUR: To review the achievement made in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana, District Development Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers.

The DDC reviewed the Status of Data punching, Aadhar linking of bank accounts of farmers, Transfer of funds through DBT, Pendency of transfer of funds and details of rejection cases.

He impressed upon the departments to ensure that no eligible farmer is deprived of the benefits of the scheme. He stressed on spreading awareness and enrollment of all the eligible persons. He directed the officers to activate the field staff to identify the left out farmers.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Vikar Giri, all SDMs, Chief Agriculture Officer, Jahangir Shafi, Chief Horticulture Officer, Brij Vallabh Gupta, besides all extension officers of Agriculture and Horticulture.
