DDC Bandipora chairs DLRC meeting, reviews performance of banks

BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 17: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza today chaired the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to review the performance of banks during last quarter.
The Meeting reviewed the progress of banks and Government Departments achieved under District Credit Plan during the last quarter.
The Meeting was informed that a total amount of Rs. 67.82 crore in priority sector and Rs. 61.42 crore in non-priority sector has been advance by various banks operating in the district. It was given out that banks have registered an achievement of 14.46% in priority sector and 59.23% in non-priority sector during the last quarter. It was informed that J&K Bank alone has advanced 83.17% of total credit disbursement in the district.
The DDC asked the bankers and sponsoring agencies to ensure there is coordination and cohesion between them for successful implementation of schemes. He also stressed on organising awareness programmes across the district besides disposal of pending cases of sponsorship.
He enjoined upon concerned officers and agencies to achieve the goal of targets of Development and eradication of unemployment in the district.
DDM NABARD Gurwant Sing, Joint Director Planning Imitiyaz Ahmad, Lead District Manager G.M Ahangar, Director RSETI G.M Reshi, besides District coordinators of all banks, Government Departments and other developmental agencies also participated the meeting.
