DDC Anantnag interacts with growers at Batango Fruit Mandi

ANANTNAG, SEPTEMBER 16: District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir, today visited Batango Fruit Mandi here during which he interacted with the fruit growers who had brought their apple produce from different areas of the district for procurement under Market Intervention Scheme.
On the occasion, growers hailed the efforts of the government to provide them marketing facilities at their doorsteps.
The DDC directed officers of JKHMPC and Horticulture to ensure every possible help to the growers in selling their produce. He also visited various stalls where apple boxes were kept for sale.
He informed growers that value of their produce will be credited to their bank accounts within 72 hours at the already approved rates. He added that all possible help will be ensured to the growers by the district administration in bringing their produce to the Fruit Mandi.
