PM greets nation on Hindi Diwas

New Delhi, Sep 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.

Mr Modi posted on Twitter, 'Simplicity, spontaneity and decency of the language gives right meaning to the expression.'

Hindi language has beautifully put together these aspects, he added.

Home Minister Amit Shah also extended Hindi Diwas greetings to the people of the nation and laid emphasis on the importance of the language.

Several government departments are observing Hindi Fortnight to celebrate Hindi Diwas.
