Boy booked for raping minor sister

JAMMU: In a shocking incident, a boy allegedly committed rape on his minor sister in Nagrota area here, police said.

A senior officer identified the accused as Nitesh Sharma, son of a late Army Colonel, living in R S Colony in Nagrota.

“Acting on the complaint that the accused raped his sister, a minor, an FIR was lodged and the accused was arrested,” he said.

The accused has been booked under The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, he added, refusing to divulge further details.
