Representatives of various Fruit Mandis call on Div Com

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 23: Representatives of various Fruit Mandis of Kashmir division today called on Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan and apprised him about their issues and demands.
The representatives projected various issues including loading of fruit during the day time and adequate transport requirement especially during peak season of fruit harvesting.
The delegation also expressed concern about the present rate per fruit box at Delhi and other Mandis and demanded lowering of transportation cost of fruit boxes.
The Divisional Commissioner assured the Fruit Mandi delegation that he will raise the projected issues with the concerned quarters for disposal of their genuine grievances.
