DDC Anantnag visits Kokernag, Dooru Sub-Divisions, take stock of healthcare facilities

ANANTNAG, AUGUST 22: The District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today visited Kokernag and Dooru Sub Divisions to take stock of the facilities including availability of basic amenities and essentials in these areas.
The DDC was accompanied by SSP Anantnag Altaf Ahmad Khan, ADC Anantnag, ACD Mohammad Aslam, SE PHE, SDMs of Kokernag and Dooru, CEO KDA, BDOs of Kokernag, Sagam, Larnoo, BMO Kokernag and other officers.
The DDC visited Sub District Hospital Kokernag and interacted with the patients and attendants to enquire about the healthcare facilities being provided to the patients. He asked the concerned BMO to provide all facilities to the patients and ensure the availability of the doctors and paramedical staff round the clock for better patient care.
He also visited SDM Office Dooru asking the SDM to ensure the attendance of the employees in the entire Sub Division. He also visited PHC Verinag to assess the healthcare facilities available there.
The officer also met public at various places who apprised him about their problems with regard to drinking water, power supply, healthcare and other basic amenities. The DDC informed the public that sufficient stocks of Rice, LPG and other eatables are available in the government go-downs.
