Ukhral toll 8

JAMMU: With two more persons succumbing to their injuries on late Saturday night, the death toll in Ukhral Ramban road accident has reached eight.
On Saturday evening, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A 3777 on its way to Alinbass from Ukhral had skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge. While five persons-- Mohammad Iqbal Jaral, Javid Ahmad Jaral (Driver), Tarda Devi, Sanvi Devi and Neelofar Bano died on the spot, another person-- Sandeep Singh succumbed on his way to hospital.
“On Saturday night, Rahat Ashraf and Faizan Ahmed also succumbed to their injuries taking the death toll to eight,” an official said.
