Children with heart diseases to get free treatment in Ahmedabad: Gehlot
Dungarpur, Jun 25 : Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday said children, ailing from heart diseases, will be treated for free in Ahmedabad.
Addressing a gathering here, Mr Gehlot said the state government has signed an agreement with a hospital in Ahmedabad, under which children having heart problems will be treated free.
Rs 5,000 from Chief Minister's relief fund will be provided to the family to go to Ahmedabad for treatment.
The state government has taken this decision in the wake of number of children deaths due to hole in heart.
