1 drowns in Jhelum

SRINAGAR: A 21-year-old man was drowned after a boat capsized in Jheum river in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said on Sunday.
They said the boat capsized in the Hajin area of the river today.
The victim, a local resident, identified as Lateef Ahmad Dar (21).
Though the people present in the area jumped into the river, but could not save the youth, they said.
The body of the youth has been handed over to the family for last rites, sources added.
