Back to village: Training held for officer's

Kulgam, June,17: A training program was held here at mini Secretariat Kulgam today to sensitize the officers and officials who have been deployed for "Back To village" programme about their role and responsibilities in this programme.

The training programme was carried out in two back to back sessions in which employees were acquainted about their role and nomenclature of their duties.

During the training master trainers explained the things through a power point presentation.

On the occasion ACR Kulgam, Mir Imtiyaz ul Aziz and ACD, Hilal Ahmad briefed the officers who have been deployed for the programme at various panchayats in the district about the activities which they have to carry out under the "Back to village program commencing from June 20.

While highlighting the objective of programme DDC Kulgam Dr Shamin Ahmad Wani said that the focus via the programme is to energizing Panchayats, collecting feedback on delivery of government schemes/programs, capturing specific economic potential and undertaking assessment of needs of the villages and added that all requisite arrangements have been put in place to make this programme a great success.
