4 family members drowned in Indus river in Ladakh after their Car falls in river Leh june 15
Ladakh 15 June: In a tragic accident, Four family members drowned in Indus river in Ladakh.
The accident occured after a car carrying four family members plunged into a river in Khalsi area of Ladakh.
However, two bodies were later retrieved from the river and two people are still missing.
Reports said that an Alto car ( JK10- 1693 ) on board with four family members including a minor drowned in the Indus River in Khalsi.
The car was on its way from Khalsi to Gumta.
Police said that two dead bodies were retrieved later and two people are still missing.
A police official said that rescue operation is going on to trace the other two people.
