Two killed in road mishap in Bihar

Lakhisarai, Jun 12 : Two people were killed and as many injured when their jeep turned turtle near Bannu orchard under Chanan police station area in the district today.

Police said here that the jeep overturned when its driver lost control over his vehicle due to high speed killing two people on the spot and leaving as many others injured. The ill-fated jeep was on way to Kiul from Chanan when the mishap took place.

Police said the deceased were identified as Janardan Yadav (37), a native of Batasapur village and Khushboo Kumari Paswan, a native of Jankidih village.

The bodies had been sent for autopsy, police added.
