DDC Doda reviews functioning of ICDS Deptt

DODA, MAY 25: District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar D Doifode today reviewed the functioning ICDS department and the Anganwari Centres run by it in the district here at meeting of CDPOs and Supervisors.
The meeting held a detailed deliberation on the working and smooth functioning of Anganwari Centres.
The DDC directed the supervisors to timely provide the fixed quantity of food and nutrition supplies to Anganwari Centres besides health services and nutrition to pregnant women, nursing mothers and adolescent girls.
They were instructed to keep close check on the Anganwari Centres by touring 4 days in a week in the areas of their respective jurisdiction to ensure that all the centres are functioning properly.
The DDC also asked the concerned authorities to discuss the modalities with the RDD department for the construction of new structures of anaganwari centres in convergences mode with MGNREGA.
