SFRI hosts painting competition on biodiversity

JAMMU, MAY 22: State Forest Research Institute, Jammu celebrated biodiversity day here at its Campus by organizing a painting competition for the students .
The students of Government High School Janipur participated in the event and expressed their views on the theme of biodiversity day. They also visited the nursery and got information about the biodiversity of the campus.
Priyanka Saha, II Bhoomi, III Gouri and Nazia were awarded 1st , 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively in painting competition. School bags, pencil, rubber, colours, brochure on biodiversity theme, refreshments etc were distributed among the participants.
Programme was organised under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer, Research Neha Mehta and Divisional Forest Officer, Seed Development Division Jammu, Shweta Deonia.
