2 dead in Doda accident

JAMMU: A 15-year-old boy was among the two persons who were killed when a truck they were travelling in skidded off a road and plunged into a deep gorge in Doda district on Monday.
As per reports, a tipper bearing registration number JK02AD-9158 was on its from Goha towards Mangota village in Marmat tehsil.
When it reached near Labbar area, driver loss the control over the vehicle and it skidded off the road and rolled down one kilometers.
A rescue operation was immediately pressed into by nearby locals of the village and police party from Goha and found the two occupants dead.
They were identified as Pervaz 22-year-old Ahmed (Driver) son of Mohammad Bashir Ahmed of Bagerni, Pul Doda and Nayeem Ahmed (15) son of Ikhlaq Ahmed of Labbar, Marmat.
After postmortem and legal formalities, both the bodies were handed over to their respective family members.
