Grenade hurled at PS Shopian

SRINAGAR: Militants hurled a grenade towards a police station in Shopian district on Monday night, but there was no damage.

The grenade exploded far outside the police station boundary, an official said.

“Unknown number of militants hurled one grenade towards Police Station Shopian from a distance which exploded far outside the Police Station boundary.

“There was no loss of life or property in the attack. We have started investigation in the case,” SSP Shopian, Sandeep Chaudhary said.
