Man crushed to death by train in Samba

Jammu, May 16: A man was crushed to death by train in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"A man namely Sanjay Randhawa, son of Jagtar Singh of Khanwal late on Wednesday night shifted to hospital in critical condition after he was hit by a train," police said on Thursday.

They said that the doctors tried to save him but he died during the treatment.

A cognizance has been taken and the body has been handed over to the family after legal formalities.
