JAMMU: The Bagh-e Bahu police today booked a CRPF jawan for committing rape on a woman at gun point.
Police identified accused person as Naresh Kumar Sharma of Bagh-e Bahu, presently posted at New Delhi. Police booked him under section 376,3/25 Arms Act.
Police said that the case was lodged after a woman, who happens to be his next door neighbor, lodged complaint against him alleging there in that CRPF jawan had been committing rape on her for the last two years as and when he came home on leave.
She said that she was threatened by him of dire consequences if she narrated the incident to anybody.
