Capt govt failed to fulfill promises made during last electioneering: Sukhbir

Moga, Apr 23: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has strongly criticised the Congress government in the state for failing on all fronts to fulfill the promises made during the election campaign in last assembly polls.
Mr Sukhbir Badal who was talking with reporters here on Tuesday during his brief stopover expressed concerns over failure of Punjab government and demanded Rs 10 lakh compensation to the families of suicide farmers to each such family beside giving them a government job.
A party source said that Sukhbir Badal will spend at least three days campaigning in Faridkot as he is the most likely SAD candidate for Faridkot lok sabha constituency.
Congress has already announced sitting MP Sher Singh Ghubaya’s candidature from the Ferozepur parliamentary constituency. Party source also said that Sukhbir would hold workers meeting in the Abhoar assembly constituency today followed by Balluana assembly constituency on April 24 and their after in the Fazilka assembly segment on April 25.
He had already covered Muktsar assembly constituency on April 19.
