LS polls: 13 % polling in first 2 hours in Goa

Panaji, Apr 23 : At least 13 per cent voters exercised their franchise till 0900 hrs in two constituencies in Goa in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections which are underway.
According to sources in the Election Office, while in North Goa constituency 13.14 per cent voters cast their votes, in South Goa constituency 13.12 per cent exercised their franchise.
For by-election, 13.18 per cent voters cast their votes in the first two hours in Shiroda constituency, 14.47 per cent in Mapusa and 13.05 per cent in Mandrem constituencies.
Polling began at 0700 hrs in the morning and will conclude at 1800 hrs in the evening.
