Post mortem report of Rohit Shekhar Tiwari raises questions over his death

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) Post mortem report of Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, son of former Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister N D Tiwari, has raised questions over his death suggesting the cause of death being 'unnanutral'.
Due to the 'unnatural' death of the 40 year old as surfaced in the post mortem reports, a case has been registered by the police and handed to the crime branch, police sources said.
As per sources it is also being suspected that he could have been smothered to death, however, the exact cause is yet to be known.
Rohit, who was declared brought dead in Max hospital, Saket, a couple of days ago, was said to have been under depression, sources initially said and the cause of death was a mystery prior post mortem as people suggested illness or other reasons.
Police had soon seized the premises, Rohit's house in Defence Colony after the matter came into light.
Since then forensic teams, crime teams have paid visits to the place in view of gathering crucial evidences while police have also met and accordingly spoke to his family members.
According to sources in the family, it was reported earlier that Rohit was under stress due to not being successful in politics.
Rohit Shekhar Tiwari, son of late Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Narayan Datt Tiwari, was brought dead to the private hospital in Delhi on Tuesday.
According to prima facie, the 40-year-old was taken to the Max hospital in Saket, after his mother Ujjwala Tiwari, who was undergoing treatment in the same hospital, got a call regarding him being unwell and bleeding from nose.
Soon, his mother reached their residence in Defence Colony and Rohit was taken to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors on duty, police had said.
Rohit had filed a paternity suit in 2008, seeking to declare ND Tiwari as his biological father.
In 2014, Mr Tiwari had finally accepted that Rohit was his son, following denials, long lawsuits and a DNA test.
ND Tiwai had for a long time refused to accept Rohit as his son. He was a senior Congress leader and a three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
