Rupee recovers 24 paise to 69.36 versus USD
Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) The Rupee on Thursday smartly recovered by 24 paise to 69.36 against the US Dollars on selling of US Dollars by exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.
Tumbled down by 68 paise in last three sessions the local unit opened higher by 15 paise to 69.45. Till the end of the day it surged by 24 paise to 69.36 as compared to its last close.
High fluctuation was seen during the day as it registered day high and low at 69.61 and 69.35 respectively.
Weak dollar against other world currencies pushed the Rupee up, however negative equity market restricted from further gains , they added.
The Forex Market will remain close on Friday on account of 'Good Friday'; trader informed.
