Srinagar: As polling for the second phase of Lok Sabha election is underway in state’s Udhampur and Srinagar parliamentary constituencies, a just married couple arrived at the polling station to cast their vote in Udhampur.

Soon after finishing their marriage ceremony, a just-wed couple from Udhampur district of Jammu arrived at the polling station and cast their vote citing the only reason that they want development in the state.

“We cast our vote because we didn’t want it to go waste, because our state needs development and we all have a right to vote,” a just-married bridge told media reporters.

According to the couple, people should always think properly before wasting their vote. “It depends upon you whether you vote or not because people will try hard to change your mind,” they said.
