‘Modi Yana’ proved more costly than ‘Chandrayan’: Congress leader

Haveri, Karnataka, Apr 17(UNI) The amount spent on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign trip (Modi Yana), was more than the Indian Scientists spent on ‘Chandrayan’, film actor turned politician Mukyamantri Chandru, alleged here on Wednesday.
Speaking to newsmen here, Congress leader Mukyamantri, former Legislator and renowned theater personality said that “while Scientists spent about Rs 450 crore for Chandrayan project, Prime Minister’s foreign trip has cost the country more than Rs 2000 crores”.
Alleging that the Prime Minister was never serious to attend the Parliament, he said that “Narendra Modi, did not held a single press conference during his five years tenure. Only thing prime minister did was talking and talking”.
Accusing Modi neglected senior BJP leaders including L K Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi, he said that “in the coming days either Modi becomes authoritarian or fade out like Advani and others".
“He may emerge stronger and tame RSS also” the Congress leader said.
Refuting the charges of the BJP leaders, that Congress did nothing to the country in the last 70 years, he said that “Let Prime Minister tell the people of the nation why Rama Mandir could not be built in the last five years”.
The BJP leaders, are fooling the people by raking up Ram Mandir Issue, while doing nothing to realize it, he added.
