Grenade hurled at NC leader’s house in Tral, no loss

Srinagar, Apr 16: Unknown persons on Tuesday hurled at the house of National Conference leader Muhammad Ashraf Bhat at Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

An official said the grenade was hurled at the residence of NC leader Muhammad Ashraf Bhat while he was addressing his workers, but it missed the target.

He said NC’s candidate for the parliamentary polls Hasnain Masoodi was also present in the meeting.

However, there were no immediate reports of any injury or damage.

Meanwhile, the government forces have cordoned off the area and a manhunt has been launched to nab to the assailants.
