3 IAS officers among four get addl charges

Goyal moves to External Affairs Ministry

JAMMU: The State government on Monday assigned additional charges of the posts of Commissioner/Secretary and Secretary to four senior officers including three IAS officers.

According to an official order issued by General Administration Department, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, would hold the charge of Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Information Department, in addition to his own duties.

Similarly, Rigzian Sarnpheal, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department, would hold the charge of Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens, in addition to his own duties.

Pandurang Kondbarao Pole, Secretary to the Government, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, has been directed to hold the charge of Secretary to the Government, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, in addition to his own duties relieving Saurabh Bhagat, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department of the additional charge of the post.

Besides these three IAS officers, Zubair Ahmad, KAS, Secretary to the Government, Culture Department, would hold the charge of Secretary to the Government, Technical Education Department, in addition to his own duties.

Meanwhile, State government also relieved Raj Kumar Goyal, IAS (JK:1990) from the service, enabling him to join his new posting on central deputation.

On April 9, Goyal was appointed him as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs, government of India.

“Upon his appointment as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Raj Kumar Goyal, IAS (JK:1990) is hereby relieved today on April 15 2019 (A.N.) to join his new place of posting,” a Government Order No.475-GAD issued by General administration department reads.
