General Elections-2019: Final randomization of poll staff held at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, APRIL 15-: Third and final randomization of polling staff for 524 polling stations of three Assembly Constituencies of 60- Udhampur 61-Chenani and 62- Ramnagar was conducted by District Election Authority here under the supervision of General Observer, Kahan Singh Pannu and District Election Officers, Dr. Piyush Singla at Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
DIO NIC, Anil Sharma briefed about the process of randomization of PO, P1, P2 and P3 through devised software.
A total of 2096 employees for 524 polling stations of the district were allotted duties through online process. Pertinently there are three women polling stations i.e one in each assembly constituency where only female staff is deployed. Moreover, the assembly segments will have six model polling stations. Around 52 polling stations have been tagged as sensitive.
Among others present were Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr Gurvinderjeet Singh, Dy DEO, Dr. Kusum Chib, DIO, Er. Sajad Bashir Somberia, besides other officers and officials of election department.
