Drug peddler nabbed with heroin in Ramban
Jammu, Mar 22: The City police on Friday arrested a drug peddler with heroin in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Acting on a specific information, a special naka (checkpoint) was laid this morning at T chowk in Banihal," police sources here said.
During checking, a youth was intercepted and frisked, during which the 10g contraband, concealed in his handbag, was recovered.
The drug peddler was identified as Mohammad Younis, resident of Nai Basti, Ramban. A case under NDPS Act was registered and investigation has started.
