High speed internet services suspended in parts of Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 20: Following the alleged custodial death of an Awantipora teacher, authorities on Wednesday suspended high speed internet in various parts of Kashmir.
High speed internet 3G, 4G has been barred in Srinagar and Budgam districts of Kashmir on Tuesday, soon after the news of the death of a teacher spread, clashes were witnessed in Awantipora and internet services were also suspended in the district.
Rizwan Ahmad, a resident of Awantipora area of Pulwama district was allegedly killed in police custody during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
Meanwhile, valley is observing a complete shutdown against the killing. All the shops, business establishments and educational institutions are closed in the valley
