Training cum demonstration program on EVM, VVPAT held at Samba

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 23: Under the supervision of District Election Officer, Sushma Chauhan, training cum demonstration programme was held here today.
During the training programme, Dy. District Election Officer, Rajeev Magotra, informed in detail about the functioning of Electronic Voting Machines along with Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail to the Presiding Officers and other election staff.
A detailed and informative power point presentation was handed over to the presiding officers of Samba and Vijaypur assembly constituencies which included handling and operation of EVMs and VVPATs.
During the demonstration and training, several queries were raised by the participating polling staff members which were satisfactorily answered by the district level master trainers.
District Panchayat Officer Samba, Block Development Officer Nud besides other officials were also present on the occasion.
