Pakistan Violates Ceasefire Along LoC in Rajouri

Jammu, Feb 20: A fresh ceasefire violation was reported in Jammu & Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Wednesday. The unprovoked cross-border firing by the Pakistani Army comes on the second consecutive day in a row.

According to preliminary reports, the ceasefire violation occurred in Kalal area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri. The firing started at around 9:50am, with Pakistan resorting to the use of heavy mortar shelling.

On Tuesday evening, a similar ceasefire violation was reported in the Rajouri sector, when the Pakistani forces resorted to unprovoked firing at around 7pm along the LoC in Nowshera sector.

The Indian Army then launched a strong and effective retaliation.
