JAMMU: While the curfew would remain in place in Jammu for the sixth consecutive day in Jammu, the authorities have decided to conduct examinations for class 8th and 9th from Wednesday onwards as per the datesheet, even as the roll numbers of the candidates will be treated as their curfew passes.
Speaking to The News Now, the Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma said that the exams for class 8th and 9th will be held from Wednesday onwards as per the issued date sheet as the roll numbers of the candidates will be treated as curfew passes.
Speaking on the educational institutions, he said that all the educational institutes in district Jammu will remain close in wake of the curfew while as the educational institutions will be open in rest of the districts of the Jammu divisions.
Meanwhile, clearing that the curfew will be opened in the rest of the districts, authorities have restored the Internet Services in all the districts of the Jammu province except the Jammu district.
