Governor's Administration approves Rs 88911 Crore Budget for FY 2019-20

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 11: Commissioner Secretary, Labour& Employment, Saurabh Bhagat, today reviewed the functioning of the department here today.
During the meeting, Commissioner Secretary directed Career Counseling Officers to visit frequently all types of the institutions whether private or public and counsel the students for higher studies and also provide the counseling to the unemployed youth in their offices.
He said that the Carrier Counseling Officer has an important role in placement of unemployed youth in Private /Industries/Public Sector by having a data base about the requirement of each Private Company in their respective Districts.
Saurabh Bhagat asked the Director Employment to have the monitoring of the cases under Self Employment Scheme being implemented by the JKEDI. The Officers of the Employment Department at District Level shall visit each and every unit in their respective district. The meeting decided that the units are established as per the guidelines and shall submit the report to the Director Employment.
The meeting was attended by Yash Paul Suman, Director Employment, Barkat Hussain, Director Finance, Labour& Employment Department, Anu Bhel, Joint Director Employment, Jammu, Sheri Shahid Mahmood, Deputy Director Employment, Central/In-charge Joint Director Employment, Kashmir and other officers of the Employment Department.
