2 Naga Sadhus Detained By Kumbh Police After They Thrash Pilgrim
Prayagraj, Jan 20: Two Naga sadhus were detained by Jhunsi police after they beat up a pilgrim inside their camp in the Kumbh Mela area.
Police said here on Sunday that they had detained two Naga sadhus on Saturday night when they beat up a pilgrim with ' Chimta', who has been admitted to the hospital with head injury.
The incident occurred in an ashram in sector 16 of the Kumbh Mela when the pilgrim had some dispute with the naga sadhus. The naga sadhus attacked the pilgrim in which he was injured.
Police said that they are interrogating the Naga sadhus after a complaint was lodged against them.
