BANDIPORA: Group of girl students flagged off for educational tour

BANDIPORA, JANUARY 18: The Department of School Education on Friday sent a group of 20 girl students for an Educational tour outside the J&K under Students Exchange Programme to enhance the exposure of students.

Deputy Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Rafiq Ahmad Parray flagged the first batch of the students from Bandipora district. He said the group will fly to Bengluru wherein they will visit various IT parks, labs and reputed institutes and will interact with the IT professionals and students.

He said the program aims to promote cultural exchange and exchange of ideas and knowledge as well. While interacting with the touring students, officials advised them to avail the opportunity by taking best out of this tour by visiting places of historical importance and other places of interest. He said that such occasion will provide them with a new experience and also give them vast exposure to become more confident and attain knowledge about the visiting places.
