Security forces launch CASO in south Kashmir's Tral
Srinagar, Jan 18: Security forces on Friday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
Official sources told TNN that following specific information about presence of militants, a joint CASO was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police, Army and CRPF at village Gulshanpora, Tral in Pulwama on Friday morning.
They said house-to-house searches were being conducted in the village. “Searches were also going on in nearby orchards and fields,” they said.
However, they said so far no contact has been established with the militants.
