JAMMU: The State government on Thursday affected a minor reshuffle in middle-rung administration, transferring and posting five KAS officers.
According to a government order 89-GAD of 2019, Kusum Badyal, Special Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, was transferred and posted as Additional Registrar, Cooperative, Jammu, whereas Tanveer Iqbal Malik, Additional Registrar, Cooperative, Jammu, was transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu.
Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, Director, Panchayati Raj, J&K, under orders of transfer as Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu, in terms of Government Order No. 1699- GAD of 2018 dated 1.12.2018, would continue as Director, Panchayati Raj, J&K.
Pankaj Kumar Sharma, under orders of transfer as Additional Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, is posted as Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu vice Puneet Sharma, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes, Enforcement (Samba), Jammu.
“He shall also hold the charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes, Enforcement (North), Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” he said.
