ADC Bhaderwah inaugurates POS machine for sale to ration sale depots

Doda : Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti inaugurated Point of Sale (POS) machine for distribution to the various ration sale depots at Dak Bungalow Bhaderwah.
Installation of POS Machines at ration depots will bring transparency in ration distribution to the consumers as these machines work on biometric system in which finger prints of the consumer are recorded while receiving ration at the sale depots.
With the installations of these machines black marketing of ration items will automatically come to an end as it requires the finger print of the consumer.
The function was attended by Tehsildar Bhaderwah Gias-ul-Haq, Assistant Director FCS&CA Doda Zakir Wani, TSO Doda, TSO Bhaderwah besides other officials of FCS&CA and sales men of all sale depots.
Earlier, an exercise to make all ration cards on-line was conducted and was successfully completed.
