DIG SKR distributes items among specially abled persons

January 17: RPHQ Anantnag today distributed range of useful items to specially-abled persons of South Kashmir. Sponsored under Civic Action Programme it is an effort by the local police to help the needy persons of the area to tide over the harshness of this winter.

Items were distributed under the personnel supervision of DIG SKR Shri Amit Kumar-IPS and included blankets, shoes, garments etc.

Nearly 200 specially-abled persons had come over from South Kashmir to attend the function at RPHQ lawns Anantnag.

Civil community members and notable persons among other officers of the police attended the programme.

Community members have expressed their gratitude for this noble gesture by J&K Police. Locals have vowed to carry forward this message of goodwill and peace to the other members of society.
