Prez reaches Prayagraj to worship at Sangam in Kumbh Mela

Prayagraj, Jan 17: President Ram Nath Kovind, reached the Sangam city on Thursday morning to worship at the Kumbh Mela here.
UP governor Ram Naik, chief minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the President at the airport and they left for the Kumbh Mela immediately.
During his brief visit to Prayagraj, the President will inaugurate the Gandhian Resurgence Summit in the Kumbh Mela area and unveil the statue of Bharadwaj Muni , officials here said.
The Gandhian Resurgence Summit is being organised by the Parmarath Niketan, the Harijan Sevak Sangh and the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance.
During his over three hours stay, the President will worship at the Sangam and meet the prominent sadhus and saints.
He is expected to return to New Delhi in the afternoon.
