Fire breaks out in mobile repair shop in Doda
Jammu, Jan 17: A major fire broke out in a mobile repair shop in Thathri area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir.
"A fire broke out on Wednesday night in mobile repair shop of one Shameem Ahmed of Cheera, Thathri in main market," police said here on Thursday.
They said police team rushed to the spot and a fire tender was also pressed into service.
"The flames were timely doused by the teams of police and fire and emergency services and prevented from spreading," said police adding that some goods were destroyed in the fire.
In the last one week, this is the third incident of fire reported in the hilly district.
