DDC Doda inaugurates 4-day training programme for Sarpanchs

DODA, JANUARY 16: District Development Commissioner, Anshul Garg, inaugurated 4 day training programme for the newly elected Sarpanchs here today.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik, Assistant Commissioner Development, Devender Singh Bhau, District Panchayat Officer, Mohammad Idrees Lone, master resource persons Bashir-ul-Hassan and Bahar Ahmad Wani besides other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
A batch of 60 Sarpanchs of Assar, Khellani, Marmat, Bhalla and Chilli Pingal Blocks shall be imparting training during the 1st phase of this training programme.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that the training would greatly help in further enhancing the efficacy and expertise of Sarpanchs towards serving the rural populace. He asked them to be proactive and strengthen their PRI's by way of solving basic problems of the people.
Pertinently, another batch of 59 Sarpanchs of Doda (Ghat), Gundna, Bhagwah and Dali Udhyanpur blocks is scheduled to be held from 21 January to 24 January 2019 in the 2nd phase.
