JCO dies of cardiac arrest along LoC in Poonch
Jammu, Jan 15: A Junior Commissioned Officer on Tuesday died of cardiac arrest along Line of Control in Mankote sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that Naib Subedar of 5 Mahar regiment posted along LoC near Sonawali Gali in Mankote on Tuesday morning fell unconscious while performing his duties.
They said that the JCO was immediately shifted to a nearby military hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
"A case has been registered and as per doctors, cardiac arrest is the cause of death," said police.
