Rajouri:A cycling expedition organised by romeo force of army was flagged off from Palma in Rajouri district by general officer in commanding, romeo force, Maj Gen PS Bajwa.As per army, the expedition aims to foster the bond between army, civil administration, central armed paramilitary forces and citizens from the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch and to celebrate the spirit of army day 2019.
The expedition will involve cycling from Palma to Nagrota and cover an overall distance of 170 kilometres in hilly terrain of Jammu and Kashmir in two days. A total of 51 participants including senior officers from army, central paramilitary forces, civil administration and civil cycle enthusiasts are participating in this initiative.
The expedition will be flagged in at Nagrota Udhampur on Monday by general officer commanding, 16 Corps, Lt. Gen Paramjit Singh
