Srinagar, Jan 11: Claiming that swine flu is once again raising its head in Kashmir valley with 16 positive cases and seven deaths so far this season, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Friday advised people to take precautions to protect themselves from getting flu.

“Simple precautions would help prevent the spread of flu,” DAK President and flu expert Dr Nisar ul Hassan said in a statement issued here.

He said covering your mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing and washing your hands with soap and water will keep you and people around you healthy and well. “People should avoid touching their eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands,” he added.
