Couple arrested, 10 kgs of poppy straw recovered in Kulgam
Anantnag, Jan 7 : Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a couple and recovered 10 kgs of poppy straw in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, a police spokesman said on Monday.
He said on a tip-off, a police party arrested a couple at Qazigund in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Sunday night. He said 10 kgs of poppy straw was recovered from them.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation, he said.
