Cong not serious to debate Rafale issue in parliament: Nadda

Shimla, Dec 17 (UNI) Union minister JP Nadda on Monday alleged that Congress is not serious to debate the issue of Rafale deal in parliament.

Addressing a press conference here, he said government was ready to discuss the issue in the winter session of Parliament and Congress should discuss the issue in the house before demanding a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe.

Mr Nadda accused Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi of spreading lies on the issue and misleading the people.

Mr Nadda accused Congress of compromising national security by delaying the purchase of Rafale aircraft since 2007 and now trying to scuttle the deal by spreading lies.
